• A patch test is required 48 hours prior to treatment or if it has been longer than one year since you have had laser hair removal at The Beauty Emporium
• Area must be closely shaved with a new, clean razor 24hours before treatment.
• Skin to be treated must be clean and free of all lotions, perfumes, make –up, deodorant, instant fake tan etc.
• Skin must not have been exposed to natural sun for a minimum of 6 weeks prior to treatment. False tan must not have been applied for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment, any traces of false tan or sun exposure will result in cancellation of treatment and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
• If you have a history of cold sores/fever blisters, consider an antiviral.
• Some medications will prevent treatment as the will cause adverse reactions these include painkillers, antibiotics etc If you are unsure regarding any current medications you are taking, please contact the salon to discuss prior to booking any appointment. During your course of treatment please advise us of any medical changes
• Do NOT pluck, wax, thread or have electrolysis for 6 weeks prior to treatment.
• In between treatment, shaving is the ONLY method of hair management.
• Courses of treatment are Non-transferable and Non-refundable.
• Only the client receiving treatment will be allowed into the treatment room.
• Children are not allowed to attend these appointments.
• Should you become pregnant during a course of treatments, the course will be paused for 12 months.
• All courses need to be commenced within 6 months of purchase.
• Laser hair removal is not suitable for white, blonde, grey and some red hair types.

• Attending your appointment that we are unable to treat due to sun exposure, false tan, natural tan, and medication, unprepared treatment area will result in 1 session from a treatment course being forfeit or 100% of the treatment cost being due.
• If you purchase a combined area treatment package e.g., Underarm, Bikini & legs all areas must be treated in one session. Treatment sessions cannot be divided or broken up onto different dates. If an area is not able to be treated or you choose not to treat a particular area for any reason the session on that area will be forfeit or 100% chargeable as the time will have been allocated.
• Rescheduling or cancellation of appointments require 24hours notice. Rescheduling or cancellations with less than 24hours notice will incur 100% treatment charge or forfeit of 1 session from any courses. Any unpaid cancellation or rescheduling charges will have to be paid before future appointments will be available.
• No shows will incur 100% treatment charge or forfeit of 1 session from any courses. Any unpaid cancellation or rescheduling charges will have to be paid before future appointments will be available.
• Late arrival can only be accommodated where possible. Please allow plenty of time to arrive on time for your appointment. Appointments will be 100% chargeable or forfeit from your course.
• A valid patch test performed by The Beauty Emporium 48 hours prior to treatment is required.
